10 Things You Need to Know About Membership Sales
Miriam Miller Wolk joined the United Fresh Produce Association as Director of Membership in July 2008, and was promoted to Senior Director of Membership in August 2010 and to Vice President of Membership and Marketing in January 2013. Her responsibilities at United Fresh include overseeing marketing communications to engage members and the broader industry in United Fresh programs, formulating and executing recruitment campaigns and retention activities, overseeing new member orientation and managing the association database. She frequently travels to regional events to promote the value of United Fresh membership and programs. Miriam serves as the staff liaison to United Fresh's Wholesaler-Distributor Board and Member Relations Task Force, as well manages the Produce Excellence in Foodservice Awards program.

Prior to joining the United Fresh staff, Miriam served as Manager of Membership and Outreach Services for the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), as well as at The Advisory Board Company, where she held several positions in business development, marketing strategy and member services.

Miriam is a 1999 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of American University with a B.A. in Literature. She served on the ASAE Membership Section Council from 2007-10, and served on the ASAE Young Professionals Committee from 2007-8.
